How to use the Scorecard

To help you remember the shots you've played whilst on the course, we've designed a simple Scorecard to help you.

Step 1 - Download and print off your scorecard by clicking on the link from the Menu.

Step 2 - Origami Time!  We've designed the card so that when folded correctly, it will slip inside your normal scorecard.  If Origami isn't your strong point then first fold it in half below hole 9, then in half again between Approach 2 and Approach 3.  This should leave you with something that resembles a Scorecard!

Step 3 - There is space to record Score, Club used, Strike, Distance from hole, Finish position and End Lie of your ball.  Depending upon how well you remember a round you may want to record all shots, some shots, or just from 100 yds and in.  We find that it's the shorter shots especially around the green that are harder to accurately remember i.e. how long were your putts and which side did they miss on.

NOTES:

  1. To record a Positional / Recovery shot (a shot where you didn't attempt to hit the green), simply circle the end lie of that shot.
  2. To record a Penalty Shot we've found the best way to so this is simply to record the number of penalty shots in the corner of the End Lie box.  Remember that Penalty Shots for a Lost Ball or one hit Out of Bounds are automatically added by the system.
